The grandest of Seoul palaces. Free entry on Wednesdays and for children under 13. Arrive early to rent a hanbok (traditional Korean dress) for free entry all week.
## 2. Bukchon Hanok Village
Traditional Korean houses nestled between two palaces. Walking through these narrow alleys feels like stepping back 500 years.
## 3. Cheonggyecheon Stream
A beautiful 10.9km stream running through downtown Seoul. Perfect for evening walks, especially in spring and autumn.
## 4. Namsan Park
Hike up for free or take the cable car. The trail takes about 40 minutes and offers stunning city views.
## 5. Dongdaemun Design Plaza
Zaha Hadid designed this futuristic building is free to explore. The architecture alone is worth the visit.
